It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Morlan of Marcellus, Michigan, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Reigle and Eldora Reigle (Mann); her husband Max "Russ" Morlan; her stepmother Mae Reigle; her siblings, Norman Reigle, Lavern Reigle, Mable Gilbert and Lucille Reigle; and her stepbrothers, Arthur Bradley and Dale Bradley.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Perkins (Bob) of South Bend, Mary Morlan (Ernie Noel) of Marcellus, Michigan and William Morlan (Laurie) of Granger, Indiana; and her granddaughter Holly Nilsen (Chris). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.
The family prefers contributions in memory of Shirley be made to either Marcellus United Methodist Church, 197 West Main Street, Marcellus, Michigan 49067, or the Marcellus Fire Department, 177 East Main Street, Marcellus, Michigan 49067.
