He was predeceased by: his parents, Arden Herman and Beverly Sziede (Lahrke). He is survived by: his daughter Angela DeVrou; his grandchildren, Lexi Jaymes and Logan Olivia; his brother Marty Sziede (Sherry); and his nephews, Eric (Emily) and Adam Sziede (Shannon).
