He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Thompson and Almeda Thompson (Shoemaker). He is survived by: his children, Linda McGlothlen (Craig) of South Bend, Rick Thompson of Edwardsburg, Kenneth Thompson of Niles, Judy Thompson of Cassopolis, Jerry Thompson (Julie) of Granger, Erin and Connie. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
