He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingo Fonseca and Guadalupe Fonseca (Vega); his son Marcos Fonseca; his brother Mario Fonseca; and his nephew Eric Villalobos.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ferrel; his daughter Jennifer Fonseca (James Fletcher) of Marcellus; his grandchildren, Selena Haley, Izaiak Haley, Leeland Haley, Arabella Haley, Adrien Fletcher, Johnny Fonseca III, Antonio Fonseca, Sophia Fonseca, Lundyn Fonseca and Nora Fonseca; his great grandchildren, Elliana Schoetzow and Harper Schoetzow; and his siblings, MaryLou Gonzalez (Manuel Salas), Yolanda Martinez, Sylvia Fonseca, Irene Fonseca, Abel Fonseca (Rosa), Roy Fonseca and Tony Fonseca (Isa). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
