He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Melville; his children, Richard Melville (Carol) and Carole Seymour; his stepchildren, David Eddy (Marilyn) and Janet Eddy; and his grandchildren, Staci Guajardo, Ryan Seymour, Chris Dose, Gregg Melville, Cathy Melville, Meredith Carver and Melissa Burson.
