With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Mae Bates of Marcellus, Michigan, born in Three Rivers, Michigan, who passed away on April 24, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman A. McClain and Violet R. McClain (Carpenter); and her son Danny Bates. She is survived by: her husband Carl Lavon Bates; her children, DiAnna Wagner (Larry) of Georgia, Dawn Brooks (Ted) of Marcellus, Darla Klock (Dave) of Marcellus, Evelyn Nemeth (Ernie) of Marcellus and John Bates (Jody) of Marcellus; and her siblings, Harriet DooLittle (Fred), Norma Charron (Rod), Romona Czuk (Phil), Janet Heath (Larry), Norman McClain (Dawn Myers), Robert McClain (Angie) and Richard McClain (Lisa). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
