He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Johnson and Demarius Johnson (Healy); his children, Karen (Kloss) and Keith; and his brothers, Elwood and Walter Johnson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra VanDresek (Gordon) and Marten Johnson; his daughter-in-law Diane Johnson; his grandchildren, Rebecca Huntley (Markus), Jennifer Cook (Jason) and Joseph Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Huntley, Jordyn Cook, Elijah Huntley and Lucas Cook. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lakeland Reformed Church, Heritage Foundation of Kalamazoo Legacy Fund, Gideons International, Centrica Care Navigators, or a charity of choice.
