He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Parmeter and Margaret Caul Parmeter; his wife Janice Martin Parmeter; and his children, Jane Curtis (Jeff), Sue Arrington (Dave), Brenda White (Alvin), Linda Matuszewski, Jonathan Balog (Christine), Lesa Ward and Ann Parmeter-Cripps (Jim). He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Additional Information According to Carroll's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Carroll's memory may be directed to Howardsville Christian School.
