He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Smith and Harriett Smith (Lepley); and his grandson Graham Barker. He is survived by: his wife Dee Ann; his daughters, Tamie Barker (Jim) and Stephanie Dimmick (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Brittany, Matt, Seth, Cassidy and Ryan; his brothers, Shayne Smith (Sandy) and Mike Smith; his brother-in-law Damen Jay Stadlberger (Barb); his mother-in-law Eloise Akin Stadlberger; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Shelly, Shawn, Kristin, Leslie, Michelle, Chad and Stacy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Haven Church of the Brethren Youth Ministry Program.
