Vern Baxter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vern Baxter of Maple City, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Baxter and Irene C Baxter (Buckler); his brother William; his sister-in-law Elizabeth (Beth); and his grandson Jacob Glass.
He is survived by: his wife Jill Dechow; his children, Michelle Stachnik (Jeff) and William Baxter (Traci); his grandchildren, Jillian Glass of Portland, OR and Joshua Glass of Cedar; his siblings-in-law, Jan Watson and Joe Dechow; and his pets, Lucy, Rip, Ellie and Ranger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
