Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Larry Lawson (Maple City, Michigan), born in Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 73, on August 29, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glendon Lawson and Eugenia "Jean" Lawson (Peplinski); and his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Zientek; and his siblings, Lee (Peg), Jim, Leonard (Lou), Tom (Cindy), Marcia Edinger and Marie Corwin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flower may be directed to the Cedar Rescue Unit, the Cherryland Humane Society or to St. Rita-St. Joseph Church.

“To shirley and larry's family: larry was a very special guy and a great friend. George spent many a good time sitting in larry's barber chair talking about everything under the sun - current events, cars, tractors, our families etc. He always made both of us laugh. He loved showing us tricks with shorts too. He will be missed by many. He fought a long battle and is now resting in the arms of jesus, never to suffer again.
