He was predeceased by: his sister Carol McNeil; and his sister-in-law Lynette Nemitz. He is survived by: his parents, Norman Nemitz and Ruth Nemitz (Edwards); his brother Randy Nemitz; and his brother-in-law Bill McNeil.
