She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baggs and Florence Baggs (Carr); her husband Roman Skipski; and her siblings, Dick Baggs, Tom Baggs (Marylou), Jerry Baggs, Vern Baggs, Maxine Bolton (Jack) and Gene Baggs.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lee (Richard Bostwick), Carolyn Morrissey, Elaine Bulter (Kevin), Becky Skipski-Adams (David) and Timothy Skipski; her sister Nancy Rozumny; her grandchildren, Zachary Adams, Jamie Lee, Michael Morrissey and Megan Morrissey (Jesus Miguel); and her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Avery, Jack Shafer and Ila Miguel.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rita/Joseph Catholic Church (8707 Hill St, Maple City, MI 49664).
