He was predeceased by: his parents, William King and Ella King (Stiehler); and his grandchildren, Brian and Stacey. He is survived by: his wife Ardith; his children, Clorinda Starlin of Cadillac, Bill King (Sandie) of Cadillac, Hazel Holly (Mike Hunt) of Cadillac and Kevin King (Gena) of East Jordan, MI.; and his grandchildren, Robert Starlin (Helane), Scott Starlin, Jessica Starlin-Ronan (William), Colleen Zawacki (Rob), Connie King, Michelle King (Dave Croskey), Benjamin Holly, Keith King (Meg Young), John McCafferty (Rachel), Jessica Crandall (Dustin) and Geralyn Skeel. He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Richard's memory can be directed to the Manton Library Project, Munson Hospice of Cadillac and Wexford Country Council on Aging.
