He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard D. Scarbrough and Polly A. Scarbrough (Norman); his aunt Judy Hagberg (Don); and his parents-in-law, Jerry Jacobson and Charlie Pinyerd.
He is survived by: his children, Kandy Mehlhorn (Ron) of Gaylord, Jason Scarbrough (Ashley Moore) of Cadillac and Kimberly Manke (Forest) of Cadillac; the parent of his children Kay Mallery of Lake City; his grandchildren, Austin Clark, Mallery Clark, Malana Mehlhorn, Preston Scarbrough, Holden Scarbrough, Amanda Meekhof and Josh Meekhof; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Charlie Jo and Joseph; his siblings, Bob Scarbrough (Kathy) of Cadillac, Tom Scarbrough (Cathy) of Tustin, Pennie Mattson (Stan) of Tustin, Pollie Pinyerd of Ohio and Dan Scarbrough (Julie) of Grand Haven; and his stepmother Lola Scarbrough of McBain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
