He was predeceased by: his parents, William Liabenow and Jeannette Liabenow (Trumble); his wife Nadine Morris; and his siblings, Lucile, Marjorie, Betty, James, Thomas and John.
He is survived by: his children, David Liabenow (Leanna) of Manton, Paul Liabenow (Bonnie) of Traverse City, Danial Liabenow of Manton and Philip Liabenow (Emily) of Cadillac; his brother Kenneth Liabenow (Fran) of Saline; and his sisters-in-law, Irene Liabenow and Helen Liabenow. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
