She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William J. Smith and E. Arlene Smith; her husband Raymond A. Nichols; her daughters, Anita Baran-Caeti (Patrick) of Manitou Beach and Amy Forrest Gilhouse (Earl "Gilly") of Manitou Beach; her grandson Matthew Baran (Preethi); her great grandchildren, Kailash, Sahana, Mark Baran (Monica) and Jessica Smith (Zac); and also, Claire, Garrett, Luke Forrest (Jessica), Lilli, Earl Gilhouse IV (Amber), Preston and Winston. She was also cherished by husband, family and friends.

Memorial contributions in Nancy's memory may be directed to St. Mary's on the Lake or to Hospice of Lenawee.
