He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Richard and Ruth Irene Eichler (Double); his daughter Lacy Ann Eichler; and his sisters, Edith Irene Ekins and Eunice Heckman.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Kay Forbes; his children, Shawn Eichler (Tiah Choate) of Adrian, Lynn Double of Manitou Beach and Cindi Dillard; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Ryan, Riley, Stephan, Isaiah, Cayden, Jesse, Tyler, Dakota, Christopher, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Marcus and Devin.
