He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Snyr and Helen Snyr (Pilot); his granddaughter Jenna Alvarado; and his siblings, Sophie, Jennie, Helen, Edward, Matthew, Walter, Joseph, Chester and Leonard.

He is survived by: his wife Beverley; his children, Joseph Henry Snyr, Kathleen Alvarado (Mike) and Tonya Renae Snyr (Steve Aldrich); his grandchildren, Sadie Oliver (Zach), Carly Snyr, Megan Peters and Heidi Whitney (Edward); his great grandchildren, Kylee Peters and Dash Whitney; and his sister Lillian Carpenter (Jean).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital.
