It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roberta Jean Smith of Manistique, Michigan, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm C. Nelson and Elsie Nelson (Leppanen); her husband Donald R. Smith; and her brothers, Robert, Conrad and Dr. Denton Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Vaughn (Lee) of Manistique, Thomas Smith (Ellen) of Holmes Beach, FL and Michael Smith (Lisa) of Metamora, MI; her grandchildren, Leanne Widdis (Bret), Greg Vaughn, Alexander Smith, Caitlin Smith and Tara Carto; her great grandchild Graham Widdis; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Nelson and Maryann Nelson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
