It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Andrew Sulander of Manistique, Michigan, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evert Alexander and Eveliina J. Sulander (Sikkila); his wife Jeanette Dalbotten; his children, David Sulander and Denise Poetchke; his brothers, Emil, Eli and Eino; and his half-brothers, George, William, Carl and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Neil Sulander of Minneapolis, MN, Gail Sulander (Greg Geirke) of Manistique, MI, Lynn Lizakowski of Princeton, MN and Juleen Lee (Joe) of Minneapolis, MN; and his siblings, John Sulander of Minneapolis, MN, Lauri Sulander (Edna) of Ft. Myers, FL and Laimi Wehmhoff of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
