With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Leon Swanson of Manistique, Michigan, who passed away on August 7, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Swanson and Ellen Swanson (Minor); his brothers, Ken, Wendall and Richard Swanson; his stepson Jay Pelon; and his son-in-law Dave Milam.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Swanson; his daughters, Celeste Walters (Dale) of Manistique, MI and Audrey Swanson of Manistique, MI; his sister Carol Walton of Maryland; his sister-in-law Helmi; his stepchildren, John Pelon (Renee), Beth Paradise (Mike) of Gladstone, Michigan, Julie Pelon of Wisconsin, Joan Larsen (Scott) of Manistique and Dorothy Nelson (Roland) of Texas; and his friend Larry Bosanic (Candy). He is also survived by several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
