He was predeceased by: his parents, John Percy and Charlene "Sherry" Kay McKay (Ranguette); and his son Randy John. He is survived by: his wife Penny McKay of Fairport; his children, Kale McKay of Garden, Leigh Morris of Fayette and Jennifer Ansell (Rocky) of Garden; his siblings, Ricky McKay (Kim), Joey McKay, Matt McKay (Tappy), Shane McCuin (Jeanine), Sherry Brown (Ron) and Terri Williams (Danny) of Pontiac, MI; and his grandchildren, Dixie, Lila, Finley, Ashton, Corbin and Christopher.

Covid restrictions apply with a limit of 25 people in the building at a time.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Big Bay de Noc School Education Foundation, or the Garden Historical Society.
