She was predeceased by: her parents, Versal Cournaya (Bun) and Mary Cournaya (Holmberg); her father-in-law David LaPratt; her former husband David; her daughter Brenda; and her brother Jerry Cournaya.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Skuse; her sons, Larry and Clifford Skuse; her siblings, Richard Cournaya (Noreen) of Griffin, GA, Patrick Cournaya (Jean), Michael Cournaya (Sandy) of Manistique, Raymond Cournaya (Renee) of Brown City, MI and Betty Wing (James); her grandchildren, Christie, Brendon, Angie, Steven, Sarah, Sydney, Clifford Jr. and Colson; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Lenox, Owen, Noah and Jarrod.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to Schoolcraft Memorial Hospice.
