He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Salter and Viola Salter (Morden); his son Lee Salter; and his sisters, Myrle Quinn and Betty Salter.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hoar; his daughter Debra Hagie (Donn) of New Berlin, WI; his sisters, Norma Ziranik (Stanley) of Detroit, MI and Joyce Salter of Detroit, MI; his grandchildren, Crystal Gericke and Allison Metzger; and his great grandchildren, Rhett, Blake Gericke and Adalyn Metzger.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Eva Burrell Animal Shelter or First United Methodist Church of Manistique.
