He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Cota and Joy Ann Cota (Rochefort); and his siblings, Annette Sarri and Joe Cota. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann; his children, James Lockhart of Algonac, MI, William Lockhart (Devin) of Mancelona, MI, Jennifer Lockhart of Manistique, MI and Dawn Knipp of Portland, IN; his stepdaughter Heather Willour (Joseph Anderson) of Escanaba, MI; and his brothers, Emery Rochefort (Monica) of Manistique, MI and Francis Cota of Washington. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren: 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
