He is survived by: his godmother Mildred Reno; his wife Mary Reid; his former wife Barbara LaLonde (LaMuth); his daughters, Heather Takala (Joe) and Kelly LaLonde-Hoholik; his sister Patricia LaLonde Nelson; his grandchildren, Chris Takala (Frankie), Alyssa Hoholik (Jake Smith), Nick Takala and Teighlor Zellar (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Trentyn, Elliot, Avery, Gemma, Berklee, Chloe and Eisley.

Memorial donations in his name may be directed to the Gift of Life-Michigan or your local Humane Society.
