He is survived by: his siblings, Bruce Bant of Manistique, Beverlee Smaka (Stephen) of Linden, MI and Barbara Boren of Berkley, MI; his niece Jaimi Hegenauer (Grant) of Linden, MI; and his nephew Jeffrey Smaka (Nichole) of Clarkston, MI..
