He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Roemer and Josephine Roemer (Swanson); his brothers, Carl James Roemer and Joel Curtis Roemer; his daughter Cheryl; and his grandsons, William Roemer and Albert Roemer.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Geraldine Bosanic; and his children, Jack L. Roemer (Pat) of Traverse City, MI, Paul D. Roemer (Christa) of Manistique, MI, Jill Farley (Rick) of Austin, TX and Carla Westervelt (Mike) of Traverse City, MI. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the St. Francis de Sales Building Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
