Forrest Frank MacLean Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Forrest Frank MacLean of Manistique, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward MacLean and Erika MacLean (Knaack); his stepmother Berniece; his sister Joan; his brother-in-law Norm Schoemann; his sister Margaret; his brother-in-law Robert Reule; and his mother-in-law Jean Swayer.
He is survived by: his wife Kari Lynn Mattila; his children, Karen Mach (Kevin) of St Joseph, MI, Melissa Kulik (Christian Hansford) of Gladstone, MI and Jeff MacLean (Ontario) of McKerrow; his stepdaughter Ann Corbett of Alliston, Ontario.; his father-in-law Lloyd Swayer (Erin); his siblings-in-law, Terry Manty (Shannon), Preston Swayer (Samantha) and Amanda Swayer (Ron Irie); his grandchildren, Dana Hensley (Ray), Leanne Mooney (Zach), Alycia Rabago (Ryan Burch), Colin Kulik of Depere, WI, Liam Kulik, Lucas Kulik, Bennett Kulik, Emalynn Kulik and Hudson Kulik of Gladstone, MI; his great grandchildren, Exander, Kamden, Brayden, Kalani, Kawika, Nohea, Jayden, Conner, Leilani, Damien, Oliver, Milo and Mabel; his nieces and nephews, Robin Williams (Jim), Erika Wales (Mitch Carlander), Pam Lancaster (Scott), Margo Jadzak, Amy Neilson (Mark), Hailey Bingham (Zach Santi), Taylor Bingham, Elizabeth Swayer, Maci Wendt, Allie Swayer, Randy Schoemann (Cindy), Brian Reule (Cari), Nick Manty and Tucker Swayer; his close friends, Larry and Dale (Cowboy); and also Kyler MacNeil of Alliston, Ontario.. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, several cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fausett Family Funeral Home (211 Arbutus Ave, Manistique, MI 49854). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
