He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Tennant and Clara Tennant (Toenneson); his brother John "Jack"; his sister-in-law Sylvia; and his son-in-law Ed Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Ellie Tennant (Leonhardt) of Manistique; his children, Don Tennant (Terry) of Manistique, MI, Ron Tennant (Faith) of Conway, SC and Brenda Lester of Manistique, MI; his grandchildren, Christa, Christi, Casey, Craig, Kylie, Melissa, Matt and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Kyle, Alex, Garret, Sami, Jeremiah, Jericho, Tyler, Aiden, Kallie and Keeley. He is also survived by several nieces nephews and cousins.
