She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry and Lucille Swanson, Sr. (Gould); her former husband Vernon Lee Gould; her granddaughters, Allie and Brittinie; her husband Vern of Escanaba; her children, Shad Gould (Georgenea) of Escanaba, Stephany Larson (Terry) of Escanaba and Sherry Gould (Jeff Davis) of Iron Mountain; her siblings, Alfred Swanson (Mary Martilla) of Manistique, Rick Swanson (Sharon) of Manistique, Lorna Lander (Gary) of Manistique, Sandy Orr (Bill) of Manistique, Louann De Grand (DJ) of Gladstone and Jane Kass (Greg) of Slinger, WI; her sister-in-law Brenda Swanson of Wetmore; her grandchildren, Dakota, Derick, Cole, Sophie, Samuel, Mia, Mary, Aurora, Tyler and Hunter; and her great grandchildren, Rylynn, Ryvver, Mason and Oaklynn.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Henry "Hank" Swanson Jr. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private funeral services will be held at a future date, with the Reverend Dr. Jay Martin officiating.
