He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Strasler and Dorthea Strasler (Arrowood); and his siblings, Howard Strasler and Gladys Grabowski. He is survived by: his child Ivy; his wife Sally Strasler of Manistique; his sister-in-law Mary Louisa Reese of Manistique; his niece Ann "Sue" Strasler; his great-nieces, Kara and Susan Miller (Tom); and also David Strasler of Manistique.
Memorial contributions in Clyde's name may be directed to the First Baptist Church Memorial fund, the Manistique Area School's Scholarship Foundation, or the Indian Lake Golf and Country Club Foundation.
