She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen A. Newman and Caroline M. Newman (Maske); her husband Dean Oliver Kolk; her daughter Denise Myers (Kolk); and her siblings, Rosemarie Kramp (Allen), Stephen Newman (Agnes Albright), Robert Newman and Gertrude Sowa (Joseph).
She is survived by: her children, Dean R. Kolk (Deborah), Cynthia Greene (Gary), Bradley Kolk (Joan), Vawn Kolk (Rory Harju), Dwayne Kolk, Christopher Kolk and Bruce Kolk (Catrina); her grandchildren, Derek Kolk (Marla Solis), Dustin Kolk (Rachel Skaggs), Gary Greene (Jodi), Amanda Locke (Rick), Adam Greene (Rhonda), Danielle Trandell Kolk, Ken Heffner, Curtis Heffner, Bradley Kolk, Chuck Kolk (Julie), Veronica Thomas (Danny), Victoria Kolk, Ashley Gutowski (Joe), Nathan Harju (Alison), Leeane Schaffer (Dalton), Hobi MacDonald (Jason), Danielle Harmon, Nolan Kolk and Paelynne Kolk; her great grandchildren, Savanah Gamache (Joey), Mikaela Hamstra (Hunter), Abby Kolk, Kelly Kolk, Natallie McNamara, Connor Thomas, Liam Thomas, Carson Tyndall, Meridee Gutowski, Paige Gutowski, Anndalee Schaffer, Olivia Greene, Charlotte Harju, Evelyn Harju and Phaedra MacDonald; her great great grandchildren, Jase Williams, Scarlette Gamache, Andrew Bush and George Hamstra; and her sister Marilyn Perski (Newman). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee Is (706 Kosciusko St, Manistee, MI 49660). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish St Joseph Catholic Church (254 6th St, Manistee, MI 49660).
