He was predeceased by: his father John D. Schmeling. He is survived by: his mother Carol Ann Schmeling (Steinberg) of Manistee; and his siblings, Joyce Musculus (Ken) of Orlando, FL, Shelley Guillen (Rudy) of Manistee, Tricia Schmeling of Manistee, Jeff Schmeling (Sue) of Holland, Peggy Savage (Tom) of Holland and Sandy Jewell (Tom) of Holland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Funeral Home - Manistee (309 W Parkdale Rd, Manistee, MI 49660). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
