It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Eleanore Jankowiak of Manistee, Michigan, born in Cheboygan, Michigan, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Knaffle and Harriett Knaffle (Lockey); her husband Peter Jankowiak; her daughter Karen Tomaszewski; and her siblings, Dorothy Fredrickson and Edmund Knaffle.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Tom Contreras), Kris (Joe Randall), Kelly (John Funderburg), Kim Jankowiak and Mike; her children-in-law, Connie Jankowiak and Dennis Tomaszewski; her grandchildren, Jason, Lindsey Tomaszewski, Abby Tomaszewski, Jon Radovich, Alysa Hansen, Logan, Trevor Miller, Sarah, Taylor Fly, Alex Funderburg, Ben Tomaszewski and Meredith Funderburg; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Jillian Tomaszewski, Brooks, Blake Fly, Emmett Miller, Stella and Hazel Radovich. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
