He was predeceased by: his parents, John Najdowski and Cecelia Najdowski (Sass); his wife Louise K. Najdowski; and his siblings, Rosalie (Raymond Mack), Thersea (Robert Osborn), Carolyn (Gerald Gutowski), David Najdowski and Monsignor John Najdowski.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Owens of Manistee, MI, Stephen Najdowski (Debra) of Manistee, MI, Cynthia Smogoleski (James) of Manistee, MI and Paul Najdowski (Sandra Pierson) of Belmont, MI; his grandchildren, Stephanie Smogoleski, Andrew Owens, Matthew Owens (Michael), Allyson Hayward (Brian), James Najdowski (Danielle), Jennifer Camaga (Ajdin) and Jonathen Najdowski; his stepgrandchildren, Rachel and Ashley; his great grandchild Lydia Louise Hayward; his sister Jean; and his brother-in-law Patrick Teets of Grant, MI.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be established in Dick's name for Manistee Catholic Central School Foundation or the Knights of Columbus.
