It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis J. Schramski of Manistee, Michigan, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Phyllis departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Phyllis may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Phyllis leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Schimke and Eleanor Schimke (Harthun); her husband Jerome Dale Schramski; and her sisters, Lorraine Fausz and Carol Aultman.
She is survived by: her son Jason; her daughter-in-law Jamie Schramski; and her grandson Justin Schramski of Baldwin, MD..
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herbert Funeral Home (706 Kosciusko St, Manistee, MI 49660). The lying in state was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (5471 Fairview St, Onekama, MI 49675). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
