The memory of Irene Ruth Olson of Manistee, Michigan, who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carboneau and Mary Carboneau (Zielinski); her parents-in-law, William and Mayme Olson; her husband Donald Olson; her siblings-in-law, Gwen Olson, Marjorie "Mag" and Richard Johnson; her nephew Bruce Olson; and her son-in-law Steven Purvis.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur Olson (Jenny), Mary Williams (Dennis), Connie Howe (Rick), Chris Klinefelter, Andrea Purvis, Barbara Allen (Steve) and William Olson; her grandchildren, Danielle, Donald, Austin Olson, Marley, Lauren Williams, Justin, Aaron Klinefelter, Alaina, Mara, Eve, Kenna Allen and Bill Olson; and her cousin Judi Crane. She is also survived by spouses and her 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Covenant Church (475 8th St, Manistee, MI 49660). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
