She was predeceased by: her parents, William Slawinski and Vanda Slawinski (Gielczyk); her husband John E. Zygaj; her son-in-law Gary Wohlscheid; and her siblings, Helen Slawinski, Casmier, Richard, Anthony "Tony" and Stanley Slawinski.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Wohlscheid of Lowell, MI, Monica, John Sarisky of Atlanta, Georgia, Joan Zygaj of Chicago and James Zygaj of Free Soil, MI; her grandsons, John Wohlscheid, Michael Wohlscheid, Joseph Sarisky and Nikolaus Sarisky (Allie); and her brother Frank Slawinski of Missouri. She is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church (254 6th St, Manistee, MI 49660). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
