Barbara J. Sleder Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara J. Sleder of Manistee, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Barbara had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Barbara may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erich Sleder and Jean Sleder (Paton); and her brother Jon. She is survived by: her children, Peter Hairston (Karen) and Erika Whitmyer; her grandchildren, Kristen, Erich, Carter, Emma and Ashley; and her sister Ruth Ann Quinn.
