He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Helminiak (Speck) and Anthony John Helminiak; his son Timothy Helminiak; his brother Robert Helminiak; and his brother-in-law Avery Kaplan.
He is survived by: his wife MaryEllen O'Herron; his children, Dan Helminiak (Christie), Dawn Melchert (Brad) and Tony Helminiak; his daughter-in-law Donna Helminiak; his sisters, Joann Viene (Tom) and Joyce Kaplan; his grandchildren, Shawna Roskoski (Matt), Ryan Helminiak (Alex), Adam Helminiak (Ashley) and Dylan Helminiak (Julia); his stepgrandson Tyler Hillier (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Noah Helminiak, Maddie Roskoski, Roam Helminiak and Parker Helminiak; and his stepgreat-grandchild Addison Hillier.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery -Manistee (1094 Merkey Rd W, Manistee, MI 49660).
