He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Trent and Grace Trent (Steadman); his wife Lucille Steele; and his siblings, Alva "Jake" Trent, Kathleen Longhorst and Mayme Gard.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bob" Trent, Jr. and Sherry Barker; his granddaughters, Michelle (Don) and Cheryl (Eric); his great grandchildren, Violet, Georgia, Archer and Harrison; and his brother-in-law Charles Steele. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
