He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl VanDoren and Cora VanDoren (Downard); his daughter Cynthia; and his siblings, Jeanette, Cathy, Carl, Jr., Richard, Donald, Gary, Ronald and Dale.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Allan-Handy; his children, Terry VanDoren (Kim), Victoria Eaton (Deepak Thapaliya) and Pamela Handy; his siblings, Mary Burhard (David), Wanda House and Albert VanDoren (Judy); his grandchildren, Lacea, Becky, Lauren, Christina of Tate, TJ and Josh; and his great grandchildren, Anna, Jackson, Ryker, Hunter, Grayson and Brendan. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
