She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Frederick and Honor Vivien Nabeack (Keene-Kennedy); and her siblings, Fred Nabeack and Rosemary Nagy. She is survived by: her husband Edward Lee Townsend; her sons, Carl Townsend (Phyllis) and Fred Townsend (Teresa); her grandchildren, Amanda Woollard (Brian) and Lindsey Myrand; and her great grandchildren, Connor, Logan, Liam, Cameron, Alexander and Kaylin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jackson Cascades Humane Society or Zion Lutheran Church in Chelsea, Michigan.
