With solemn reverence, we commemorate Matthew Thomas Fritts of Manchester, Michigan, whose life came to an end on March 25, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd W. Fritts and Bernadette L. Fritts (Nagle); and his wife Victoria Fritts (Messick). He is survived by: his daughters, Magen Larsen (Lars) of Milan Michigan, Lindsay McGinnis (William) of Surprise Arizona and Kaitlin Papiersky (Ryan) of Manchester Michigan; his grandchildren, Niklas, Brett, Autumn Larsen, Dominic, Oliver, Lillian McGinnis and Ryder Papiersky; and his sisters, Susan Fritts and Mary Beth Kubera (Joseph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (910 Austin Dr, Saline, MI 48176-1157). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:20 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (227 W Michigan Ave, Saline, MI 48176).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Matthew's name may be made to Sons of the American Legion Squadron 322.
