He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Walkowe and Frances Walkowe (Zink); and his siblings, Frank, Joe, Bill, Evelyn and Gertrude.

He is survived by: his wife Geneva; his daughters, Kelley Taylor, Jayne Long (Chris), Natalie Daubner (Jeff), Heather Walkowe and Carol Kurasz (Mark); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Nick), Brent, Benjamin, Beth, Jimmy, Danielle and Kaitlin; and his sisters, Neoma Reeter and Nancy Walkowe.
