We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2018, at the age of 57, Elena Barillas Flores (Manchester, Michigan), born in Flushing, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Guillermo Barillas and Caroline Barillas; and her sister Teresa Barillas-Hinds. She is survived by: her goddaughter Taylor; her husband David Flores, Jr.; her daughters, Maya Flores and Taylor Issa (Zack); and her siblings, Martin Barillas (Alice), Carolina Barillas, William Barillas (Maria) and Michael Barillas (Michele). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Those wishing to honor Elena's memory may make donations to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) or Planned Parenthood.
