Corey left this world on December 25, 2024 at the age of 26, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his parents, Charles Shopshear (Mary) of Gaylord, MI and Julie Pyle of Griswold, IA; his son Legend Rothove of Britton, MI; his siblings, Lillian Shopshear, Charles Shopshear of Gaylord, MI, Audrey, Blake and Desmond Fostor of Oklahoma; his aunts and uncles, John Jameson of Westland, MI, Derek Hymer of Ann Arbor, MI, Jessie Hymer, Melissa Herndon (Gary) of Texas, Jonathon Brooks (Alina) of Texas, Loki Harris, Thomas Pyle, Suzanne Pyle and Carl Pyle; his grandparents, Robin Anderson (Dale) of Ann Arbor, MI, Christerfer Shopshear (Laura) of Deadwood, Adrienne Harris (Steve) of Belleville, MI, Anne and Janet Pyle; and his great-grandparent Charlotte Jameson (Corey). He is also survived by many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the David C Brown Funeral Home (460 E Huron River Dr, Belleville, MI 48111).
