He was predeceased by: his parents, John King and Ethel King (Hodge). He is survived by: his wife Sandra King (Staulter) of Manchester; his son Robert E. King (Shari) of Emerald Isle; and his sister-in-law Linda Pipkins (Ellie). He is also survived by two granddaughters with their spouses, two great-granddaughters, four step-granddaughters, one step-grandson and one step-great-grandson.
